Summary:PURPOSE:To hold expanding-contracting positions positively and easily by erecting lock members, expanded interlockingly with the expanding action of connecting members, between the end parts of the connecting members of an expandable pantograph, and allowing the lock member to be locked and released in the expanding position. CONSTITUTION:Expandable lock members 14 are erected between the end parts of the connecting members 11 of an expandable pantograph 10, and expanded in linkage with the expanding action of the connecting members 1. The lock member 14 is formed of cylindrical lock members 14a, 14b assembled in the state of going in/out freely, and the lock member 14b is provided with lock pins 15a, 15b erected in the orthogonal direction to an axis. The pin 15b is energized inward by a spring 16b, and the pins 15a, 15b are energized to be opened by a spring 16a. The lock member 14a is provided with a hole 15c, into which the pin 15b is inserted being pressed by the spring 16a in the expanding position of the pantograph 10, thus fixing the lock members 14a, 14b. At the contracting time, the spring 16a is pulled out by a driving part 16c, and the pin 15b is removed out of the hole 15c by the spring 16b.
