PURPOSE:To satisfactorily carry and transfer a sheet of paper of special size, a thin sheet of Japanese paper, a sheet of letter paper, or the like by providing a first sheet having a cut part and a second sheet where the part corresponding to the cut part of the first sheet is thicker than the other part. CONSTITUTION:This auxiliary sheet consists of a first sheet 1 which is provided with a cut part 2 in the part corresponding to an image forming part for transfer and a second sheet 3 which is joined or unified with the sheet 1 at least in one end part and has the part, which corresponds to the cut part 2 of the first sheet 1, made thicker than the other part. When the auxiliary sheet is used, a transfer material 4 is placed on the part thicker than the other part on the second sheet 3, and first and second sheets 1 and 3 are put one over the other and are closely brought into contact with each other, and at least both ends of the transfer material 4 are held between first and second sheets 1 and 2, and carrying, transfer, and fixing are performed. Thus, a post card, a sheet of paper of special size like a visiting card, a thin sheet of Japanese paper, a sheet of letter paper, or the like is satisfactorily carried and transferred.
