Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the operating characteristic of a panel and obtain the large panel by patterning transparent electrodes, providing metal bus electrodes so that they are partially overlapped, and forming upper transparent electrodes on them so as to pinch metal bus electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A lower transparent electrode 2 is formed on a glass substrate 1, then the preset patterning is applied. A bus electrode 3 made of a metal with relatively high conductivity such as silver, gold or nickel is formed by the thick-film printing method so as to be partially overlapped on the transparent electrode 2 along the longitudinal direction. An upper transparent electrode 4 is formed, and the upper transparent electrode 4 is patterned to form an electrode structure pinching the bus electrode 3. Finally, a dielectric layer 5 made of low-melting point glass, e.g. PbO, is printed and baked. The resistance of transparent electrodes can be surely reduced, the operating characteristic is stabilized, and a large panel can be obtained.
