Summary: | PURPOSE: To obtain an intense dark reactant by a method in which a colored chelate compound and a specified colorless ferric compound are sealed in micro- capsules, which can be broken by pressure, as a solution or a dispersion, and mixed by pressure image forming. CONSTITUTION: At least one of a colored chelate compound or a colorless ferric compound (formulas I-IV) is sealed in micro-capsules, which can be broken by pressure, as a solution or a dispersion, and at least one of the first component or the second component is dispersed in each support. In the formulas, R is an alkyl or alkoxy group, and is selected independently from substituted alkyl or alkoxy groups having a substituent selected from alkyl, cycloalkyl, and aryl groups; however, the substituent does not act as a ligand or a chelate for a ferric ion; X is a counter ion. The support and the second component are in a physical relationship in which when pressure is applied to the support, the second component is contacted immediately with the first component. |
