Abstract | PURPOSE:T prevent expanding both end openings the tube body by forming a sheet stock out into a prescribed length through forming rolls of plural stages successively into a U-shape then press forming it into an annular tube body through a die. CONSTITUTION:The long sized sheet stock 23 is bent in the cross direction to form the annular tube and to manufacture the tube for the heat exchanger. Then, the sheet stock 23 is cut into the prescribed length by a cutting machine 27. These sheet stocks are worked successively through the plural stages of forming rolls 35 into U-shaped cross-section. After that, the U-shaped member is formed through the dies using presses 37, 39, to form the annular tube body. By this method, the expanding of the both end openings of the tube body for the heat exchanger is prevented. |
