Abstract | PURPOSE:To enable evaluation of a surface liquid-absorption characteristic by a simple device, by a method wherein a sample liquid filled up in a measuring tube is made to be absorbed in a sample sheet material and a time for absorption of a prescribed quantity of the liquid or the quantity of absorption in a prescribed time is measured from the surface of the sheet material and compared with a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A measuring tool A is put on an elastic sheet and a sample liquid is injected from the upper opening 2d of a measuring tube 2 to a start division 2a of a scale. Next, the measuring tool A is held up with the opening 2d closed, a sample sheet is put on the sheet, the measuring tool A is set on the sample sheet, the opening 2d is opened and simultaneously counting of time is started. Thereby the sample liquid is absorbed into the sample sheet and a liquid level lowers. A time required until the liquid level reaches a lower- limit division 2b of the scale is measured. Measurement is conducted with the sample liquid or the sample sheet changed and relative evaluation is made. According to this constitution, a surface liquid-absorption characteristic can be evaluated by using a simple device and method. |
