Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent not causing the destruction of an ozone layer and having superior ability to remove adhering water by adding a surfactant made of the salt of a specified aliphatic amine with a specified benzenecarboxylic acid to a chlorohydrocarbon solvent. CONSTITUTION:A surfactant made of the salt of an aliphatic amine represented by a general formula R -NH2 (where R is 6-12C alkyl) with a benzenecarboxylic acid represented by general formula I (where R is H, methyl or ethyl), e.g., benzoic acid, toluic acid or ethylbenzoic acid is added to a chlorohydrocarbon solvent such as methylene chloride by 0.1-10wt.%. The aliphatic amine may have a straight or branched chain and may be satd. or unsatd. A noncombustible detergent not causing the destruction of an ozone layer and having superior ability to remove adhering water and superior rinsability is obtd. |
