Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce misprocessing by returning processing to the initial state even on the way of information processing when the succeeding processing is not executed even after the passage of a prescribed time from the insertion of a card. CONSTITUTION:When the card is inserted into a card processor, a timer circuit 2a in a deciding means 2 is started. When a reset key to be an external input means 3 is depressed prior to the passage of the prescribed time from the start of the timer circuit 2a, the processing is returned to the initial state. When the input of information based upon a setting means 1 does not exist, the timer circuit 2a is waited during the passage of the prescribed time. After the passage of the prescribed timer from the start of the timer circuit 2a, the processing is returned to the initial state independently of the state of the processing. In the case of executing the processing again, the card is inserted into the processor again.
