Abstract | PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of the spread of charge particles by collision and to obtain an image recording with a high resolution by forming charge patterns by utilizing an electric field release. CONSTITUTION:A voltage is impressed between a photosensitive body 2 and a charge holding medium 1 and the spacing between both is extremely diminished to generate the electric field release. The released charges are attracted to a charge holding medium 1 side and are electrified on the surface thereof, by which an electrostatic latent image is formed. Since the spacing is small in this case, the probability that the charge particles come into collision against the molecules is small and the charges are accelerated in the electric field direction and are thereby electrified. The influence of the spread by the collision is eliminated and the image recording of the high resolution is obtd. |
