Summary:PURPOSE:To score simply by converting letters, marks, figures, and baseball words input from a keyboard into marks for scoring by a controller, and displaying them in a display device. CONSTITUTION:The data input to an electronic scorebook 10 are all carried out from a keyboard. A microcomputer 30 starts four ways of key scanning. The scanning signal is input to a decoder 32, converted into 16 ways of key scans, and 10 ways key scans of them are input to a keyboard matrix 14a. From the keyboard matrix 14a, 8 ways of return lines are connected to the microcomputer 30. When the matrix of the keyboard is turned on, a return signal responding to that is input to the microcomputer 30, where the signal is decoded, and a signal to make a display responding to the input data is output to an LCD driver 33. The LCD driver 33 which has taken in the display data converts the data into a data to display on an LCD 34, and the LCD 34 carries out the display.
