Abstract | PURPOSE:To allow fixing and taking-out of an electrode constituting body with a finger-touch operation and to enhance measurement accuracy and reproducibility by pressing a working electrode to bring the electrode into uniform pressurized contact with a gasket having flow passage apertures while a complete face-to-face contact state is attained by using a plunger, thereby generating the precise flat cell flow passage between the gasket and a cell block. CONSTITUTION:An operating shaft 6 is rotationally operated to bring the plunger 4 into pressurized contact with the working electrode 3a at the center of the electrode constituting body 3. The rear surface of the electrode 3a and the end face of the plunger 4 attain the substantial face-to-face contact state as the plunger 4 is slightly adjusted in angle by fitting of the spherical face of a collar part 22 and the inner peripheral surface of a cylinder 5 for holding the plunger 4. The gasket 3b is, therefore, uniformly compressed between the entire front surface of the electrode 3a and the flow passage floor surface 32 of the cell block 11 and the flat cell flow passage chamber which is free from the liquid leakage is eventually formed. Then, the liquid to be inspected flowing from a liquid inflow port 8 flows through the inlet flow passage 18 into the gasket 3b and joins in a liquid outlet 9 via the outflow passages 15, 15a. The liquid flows out while maintaining contact with the reference electrode 16. |
