PURPOSE:To provide possibility of standardization using a low rigidity enclosed box for a low shutoff capacity by furnishing a case or cover at its opening with an enclosing lid, which closes the opening at normal times and opens the same when the circuit breaker concerned is broken. CONSTITUTION:Into an empty tubular hole free from insertion of any external wire is fitted an enclosing lid 16, which is composed of a lid 16a having a center hole 161 and contacting the outer surface of a case side wall 1a, a holding plate 16b having an intermediate hole 163 and a holding part 162 at both ends, a screw 16c to be inserted in these holes 161, 163 from outside, a spring 16d inserted to an inside boss of the screw 16c, and a nut 16e to be screw fitted on the screw 16c. This opens the lid 16a outside against the action of the push spring 16d when the pressure in the enclosed box exceeds a certain value, which is thus relieved. At this time, appropriate adjustment of the position of the nut 16e will adjust the enclosing force of the lid 16a, which provides good response to varying shutoff capacity of the circuit breaker concerned.
