Abstract | PURPOSE:To provide a high efficiency in operation of both cooling operation and heating operation by a method wherein a secondary coolant cycle is constructed by arranging a heat source circuit and a coolant pump circuit for use in circulating coolant in reversible manner to a series connected circuit of a heat exchanger at user's side. CONSTITUTION:Secondary coolant liquid forcedly fed by a coolant pump 28 flows into a heat exchanger 26 at user's side through a four-way changing-over valve 27, evaporates in thermal absorption and then becomes coolant gas. Then, its flow into a coolant heater 23 is prohibited by a secondary check valve 22, flows into a secondary coolant passage 21 of a coolant heat exchanger 18, is cooled, liquified, passes through a first check valve 20 and the four-way changing-over valve 27, returns back to the coolant pump 28 and performs a cooling action through a heat exchanger at user's side 26. In turn, secondary coolant liquid forcedly fed with the coolant pump 28 is changed in its flow through the four-way changing- over valve 27, flows into the coolant heater 23, is heated by combustion gas in a combustion unit 25, is evaporated and then becomes coolant gas. Then, this coolant gas passes through a second check valve 22, flows into the heat exchanger 26 at user's side to radiate heat and is liquified. It returns back to the coolant pump 28 through the four-way changing-over valve 27 and then its heating action is produced at the heat exchanger 26 at user's side. |
