Abstract | PURPOSE:To facilitate taking of flocks out of a treatment tank by adding a foaming agent, inorg. flocculating agent and org. high-polymer flocculating agent to the mud water to be treated and stirring the mud water to form the flocks, then allowing the flocs to float. CONSTITUTION:The foaming agent, the inorg. flocculating agent and the org. high-polymer flocculating agent are added to the mud water generated by an excavating operation of a tunnel, boring operation, sewage treatment, etc., and the mud water is stirred to form the flocks in the mud water; thereafter, the flocs are allowed to float. A good result is obtd. by using an anion surfactant or cation surfactant as the foaming agent, a drug contg. aluminum as the inorg. flocculating agent and a nonionic high-polymer flocculating agent as the high-polymer flocculating agent. The adjustment of the concn. and pH of the mud water prior to the addition of the above-mentioned foaming agent and the respective flocculating agents is recommended. |
