Summary:PURPOSE:To enhance a design effect by placing a glass cullet adhering with glass powder by an organic adhesive on the surface of a glass or a porcelain, heating at a temperature for allowing the glass powder to melt but the cullet not to melt, and fixing the cullet to the surface of the glass or porcelain. CONSTITUTION:Pastelike mixture containing glass powder 2, metal oxide 3 and organic adhesive 4 is joined to a glass cullet 1, joined to the surface of a base material 5 made of glass or porcelain, and heated. It is heated at a temperature under the conditions for allowing the powder 2 to melt but the cullet 1 not to melt to be deformed. Here, the powder 2 is initially melted after the oxide 3 is advanced to color and heated thereby to join the cullet 1 to other glass cullet 1 and the material 5. Then, the oxide 3 also performs the melt preventing effect of the cullet 1 simultaneously upon coloring of the cullet 1. The oxide 3 is used 20wt.% or less for the amount of the powder 2. Thus, a beautiful decoration can be molded by utilizing the shape of the cullet.
