Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic crawler cleaner in which a main body is automatically moved in a direction for a suction hose by detecting the axial displacement of a worm gear capable of being axially displaced and connected to the output shaft of a driving motor. CONSTITUTION:The suction hose 5 is pulled to pull the main body 1 forward, and driving wheels 9A, 9B receive simultaneously rotation force of a direction shown by the arrow (b). This rotation force is transferred to a worm wheel 11 through driving shafts 10A, 10B and a differential gear 12 and the worm wheel 11 receives the rotation force of a direction shown by the arrow (c) to depress the worm gear 15 downward. The lower end of a worm receiving member 19 presses a switch 21 to close the contact of the switch 21, operate a driving motor 13, rotate the worm gear 15 in the direction shown by the arrow (e) according to the rotation of the output shaft 14, drive the worm wheel 11 in the direction shown by the arrow (c), drive the driving wheels 9A, 9B and move the main body 1 forward. At this time, the worm gear 15 is raised according to the reaction of the worm wheel 11 to open the contact of the switch 21.
