Summary:PURPOSE:To enable a printing plate to be accurately registered by eliminating shear of a pattern, by providing a sensor by which presence of a printing plate is confirmed and distortion of the printing plate is detected, a pawl positioning a folded part of the printing plate, a pad holding by sucking the printing plate, a lever pushing a held side of the printing plate into a plate holding side part of a plate cylinder, and a roller sticking the printing plate fast to the plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A printing plate removable device (a robot) is composed of a body 4, a vertical articulated arm 2, and a hand 12, and the hand 12 is composed of a pair of pawls 21, four suction pads 24, a pair of pushing levers 30, a pair of rollers 31, and access sensors 33, 34. An elastic material of rubber or the like is adhered to the top of the lever 30, an arm 11 to which the hand is attached swings centering a fourth axis, the lever 30 also swings to push a held side folded part 13a onto a holding side part 3a of a plate cylinder 3 and stick it fast thereto. Then, the sensor 34 identify whether fitting of the folded part 13a is accurate or not. Further, when a printing plate 13 is taken up from a printing stage 35, the sensor 33 checks presence of the printing plate 13. When no presence, it issues an alarm to stop all operations.
