Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start transmission with a desired light intensity, immediately after an optical transmission device is started up and is made possible to compensate for the light intensity for the next emission when an ambient temperature changes sharply during a period when there is no emission of light, by letting a temperature compensation voltage generating means compensate for the temperature according to the ambient temperature of a light emitting device at the time of APC feedback control. SOLUTION: In a high-speed APC circuit, an S/H circuit section 6, a comparing section 7, a temperature compensation curren generating setion 8, a temperature compensation voltage generating section 9, and a controlled voltage supplying section 10 are installed, in addition to a D-FF 1, a driving section 2, an LD 3, a PD 4, and a current/voltage conversion section 5. The temperature compensation current generating section 8 monitors an ambient temperature of the LC 3, a light emitting device and then outputs compensation current J, which changes according to a change in temperature. The initial value of the intensity of light emitted by the LD3 when transmission is started, is set by the compensation current J. |
