Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent increases of power required for latent heat storage agent to store heat and improve heat storage efficiency by taking out latent heat from the heat storage agent at a specific temperature below 0 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 1, a condenser 2, and an evaporator 4 are connected in succession to form a refrigeration cycle 5. Latent heat storage agent A circulating to a load side 9 is stored in a heat storage tank 6 communicating with the load side 9 through a circulation line 8 to submerge the evaporator 4 therein. The agent A is an aqueous solution of freezing point depression agent in which freezing point depression agent of water is dissolved into water. The concentration of the freezing point depression agent in said solution is in the range of 60-98% of eutectic concentration, wherein the agent forms eutectic with water.
