Abstract | To securely bond a display panel and a color separation element by using an adhesive.SOLUTION: A display 1 comprises: a display panel 10 that has a display surface 10a having a display area DA displaying an image and an opposite surface 10b on the opposite side of the display surface 10a; a color separation element 30 that is arranged on a side of the opposite surface 10b of the display panel 10, and splits light from a light source and emits a plurality of rays of separation light SR different in wavelength from each other to the display panel 10; and an adhesive part 40 that bonds the display panel 10 and the color separation element 30.
