Abstract | To prevent unauthorized access, and prevent processing loads from getting unnecessarily high.SOLUTION: When a relay device receives diagnostic data DD for diagnosing a diagnostic target transmitted to and received from a diagnostic tool (S11: YES), in step S12, the relay device determines whether a communication path of the received diagnostic data DD is correct.
