Abstract | To provide a marking device that is used to mark a marking line and can execute travel control with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A marking device 1 is a device that travels in a construction site of a building and marks a marking line. The marking device 1 has: a device body 2; a marking unit 3 that marks the marking line; a travel part 4 that makes the device body omnidirectionally travel in a horizontal direction; and a control controller 7. The control controller 7 makes the device body travel from a predetermined start point to a predetermined target point based on design information of the building and acquires positional error information from a difference between a position information of the target point based on the design information and positional information of the device body after travelling to the target point. The control controller 7 marks the marking line while making the device body on a floor of the building based on the design information and the positional error information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
