Abstract To provide a fluid-soaking device 1 for heating workpiece 2 by electromagnetic induction heating and coating the workpiece 2 which satisfies a request for coating time and coating thickness, even when the workpiece 2 has a complicated shape without increasing output of a power supply device 12.SOLUTION: In a device 1, a tank 5 has a storage space where a powder coating is stored, and a bottom side of the storage space is partitioned by a porous wall 3 composed of a porous material. Fluidizing means 6 jets gas upward from the porous wall 3, and thereby forms a fluidized bed of the powder coating in the storage space 5a. A coil 7 is energized and controlled so as to pass a magnetic flux in the storage space, and heats the workpiece 2 by electromagnetic induction heating in a state in which the workpiece 2 is immersed in the fluidized bed.
