Summary:To provide a marking device that has a simple structure and increases the efficiency of the marking work.SOLUTION: There is provided a marking device (1) used to mark a point where a fastener (4) is driven into a building material (2). The marking device (1) includes: a long member (6) which is arranged on the building material (2) and has multiple marking holes (12) on a straight line (10) formed in the longitudinal direction with a prescribed distance (D); and a marking tool (8) which performs marking on the building material (2) from each marking hole (12) by rubbing against the long member (6) while moving along the straight line (10).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】簡素な構造であり、マーキング作業の作業効率を高めるマーキング装置を提供する。【解決手段】建材（２）に止め具（４）を打ち込む箇所にマーキングするためのマーキング装置（１）であって、マーキング装置（１）は、建材（２）の上に配置され、長手方向に形成される直線（１０）上に所定の間隔（Ｄ）を存して複数のマーキング孔（１２）が穿孔された長尺部材（６）と、直線（１０）に沿って移動させながら長尺部材（６）に擦り当てることにより、各マーキング孔（１２）から建材（２）にマーキングを行うマーキング具（８）とを備える。【選択図】図１
