Abstract | To provide a power storage device which enables suppression of occurrence of unevenness in distribution of a pressure put on a power storage device located at a lower position when a plurality of power storage devices are stacked on each other and which has corrosion resistance, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A power storage device comprises an electrode body and an outer packaging body. The outer packaging body serves to seal in the electrode body. The outer packaging body is formed by a film-like exterior packaging member. The outer packaging body includes a first seal part where the electrode body is sealed in; the first seal part is formed by bonding together faces of the film-like exterior packaging member, which are opposed to each other in the state of being wound around the electrode body. A first face is larger than a second face in area. The first seal part does not overlap with the first face in plan view. The exterior packaging member is composed of a laminate having at least a base material layer, a barrier layer and a heat-fusable resin layer in this order. The barrier layer includes a piece of aluminum alloy foil which satisfies the following composition requirement: Fe is 0.2 mass% or more and 2.0 mass% or less, and Mg is 0.1 mass% or more and 5.0 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
