Abstract | To provide a tool for collecting ribbon-shaped continuous ultrathin slices, made with a diamond knife for a conventional transmission electron microscope, onto a substrate.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a tool that is fitted to a diamond knife before ribbon-shaped continuous ultrathin slices are cut, and collects the ribbon-shaped continuous ultrathin slices having been cut onto a substrate. A column 5 is provided on a batholith of a support base of a main body, the substrate is attached to the root of the column 5, and fixed with a fastener 2 over an upper side of a knife boat edge to moor a mold form to the column. The fastener 2 is in a box shape, and provided with an entrance by removing one side wall thereof, provided with an eaves-shaped ceiling 14 inside from above both side walls 2, and provided with a leaf spring on a lower side from an inner wall in parallel with the side walls, and the mold form 3 is provided to a flat ultrathin frame in a substantially channel shape which is equal in width and length to the substrate so that the part 11 where the part of a hole 12 into which the column 5 is inserted on a closed side is held with tweezers at both ends opposed to an open side protrudes outward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
