Abstract | To perform temperature control of a detector module unit by a simple method.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus comprises: a detector unit; an acquisition unit; an air blower unit; an opening/closing mechanism; and an opening/closing control unit. The detector unit includes a plurality of detector modules which are arrayed in the channel direction and a housing which is provided in the periphery of the plurality of detector modules. The acquisition unit acquires information about a heat quantity in the detector module. The air blower unit is provided in at least one of a suction port and an exhaust port respectively provided on two faces in the column direction of the housing. The opening/closing mechanism is provided between the suction port of the housing and the detector module or between the exhaust port of the housing and the detector module. The opening/closing control unit controls the opening/closing mechanism on the basis of information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
