Abstract To solve the problem that generally, there are various performance required for a tire, among them, excellent abrasion resistance is required, the requirement exists in a racing tire for circuit traveling, in a conventional technique, in order to improve grip performance of the racing tire, a method for blending a large amount of resin and oil, and a technique for blending a polymer having a high glass transition temperature, carbon black having a small particle diameter or a thermoplastic resin are known, but abrasion resistance in a level currently required in the industry cannot be obtained.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a tire tread is obtained by blending 20 pts.mass or more of a filler for reinforcement and 5 pts.mass or more of a rosin-modified xylene resin with respect to 100 pts.mass of diene-based rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】一般に、タイヤに求められる性能は多岐にわたっているが、その中で、優れた耐摩耗性が要求されている。この要求は、サーキット走行向けの競技用タイヤにも存在する。従来技術において、競技用タイヤのグリップ性能を向上させるために、樹脂やオイルを大量配合する手法や、高ガラス転移温度を有するポリマー、小粒径のカーボンブラックまたは熱可塑性樹脂を配合する技術が知られているが、現在当業界で要求されるレベルの耐摩耗性を得るには至っていない。【解決手段】ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対し、補強用充填剤を20質量部以上、およびロジン変性キシレン樹脂を5質量部以上配合してなるタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物によって上記課題を解決した。【選択図】なし
