Abstract To provide a heat source unit capable of setting a refrigeration circuit into a connection state to simply collect refrigerant, and a refrigeration cycle device.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit 20 includes a bypass flow path 60, a gas closing valve 28, and a liquid closing valve 29. A second refrigerant distribution pipe 12 is a flow path connecting the suction side of a compressor 21 to a four-way switching valve 22, a third refrigerant distribution pipe 13 is a flow path connecting an outdoor heat exchanger 23 to the four-way switching valve 22, a first refrigerant distribution pipe 11 is a flow path connecting the gas closing valve 28 to the four-way switching valve 22, and each of a fourth refrigerant distribution pipe 14 and a fifth refrigerant distribution pipe 15 is a flow path connecting the outdoor heat exchanger 23 to the liquid closing valve 29. The four-way switching valve 22 is switchable into one of a cooling connection state and a heating connection state.
