Abstract | To provide a vehicle rear part structure which can effectively ease a buffer load from the rear in a wide range of a vehicle in a vertical direction to improve collision safety.SOLUTION: A vehicle rear part structure according to one aspect of the invention includes: a rear panel having a rear panel center member extending in a vehicle width direction and a rear pillar 43 extending upward from the rear panel center member; a rear wheel house located forward of the rear panel; and a rear panel support member which extends in a vehicle fore and aft direction and spans the rear pillar and the rear wheel house in an area above the rear panel center member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
