Summary:To provide a cooling circuit in which a cooling liquid for cooling a battery passes through a filter, the cooling circuit offering a secured effect of cooling the battery.SOLUTION: A battery cooling device is for directly cooling a battery by an insulative cooling oil circulating in a cooling circuit. The cooling circuit includes: a filter for removing an impurity mixed in the cooling oil; a bypass passage for bypassing the filter; a switch valve for switching between a filter-side passage with the filter and a bypass passage; and a controller for controlling the switch valve.
