Summary: | To give an irregular phase difference to diffusion light from a plurality of lenses, using a novel variation factor of a microlens array structure even when regularly arraying a plurality of microlenses, and thereby further enhance a suppression effect of unwanted diffraction light including spectral-shape diffraction light, 0-order diffraction light and the like, and furthermore improve uniformity of diffusion light or light distribution property thereof.SOLUTION: A diffusion plate is provided that comprises: a base material; and a microlens array that is composed of a plurality of microlenses arranged on an XY plane in at least one surface of the base material. A surface shape of each microlens has a preset reference surface shape, and the plurality of microlenses is arrayed regularly on the XY plane. Each microlens is arranged in a position randomly shifted in a Z direction from a reference position in the Z direction vertical to the XY plane, and in a boundary between the plurality of the mutually adjacent microlenses, a step in the Z direction exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】複数のマイクロレンズを規則的に配列する場合であっても、マイクロレンズアレイ構造の新たな変動要素を用いて、複数のレンズからの拡散光に不規則な位相差を付与することによって、スペクトル状の回折光や0次回折光などを含む不要な回折光の抑制効果をさらに高めて、拡散光の均質性や配光性をさらに向上する。【解決手段】基材と、基材の少なくとも一方の表面におけるXY平面上に配置された複数のマイクロレンズから構成されるマイクロレンズアレイと、を備え、各マイクロレンズの表面形状は、予め設定された基準表面形状を有し、複数のマイクロレンズは、XY平面上に規則的に配列されており、各マイクロレンズは、XY平面に対して垂直なZ方向の基準位置から、Z方向にランダムにシフトした位置に配置されており、相互に隣接する複数のマイクロレンズ間の境界には、Z方向の段差が存在する、拡散板が提供される。【選択図】図5 |
