Summary:To reduce the power consumption amount of a wheel testing device.SOLUTION: A wheel testing device is provided that comprises: a rail wheel support unit that rotatably supports a rail wheel; a wheel support unit that rotatably supports a test wheel by being contacted with the rail wheel; a first electric motor that causes the rail wheel and the test wheel to rotate; and a torque generation device that generates torque to be applied to the test wheel. The torque generation device includes a rotation frame that is driven to rotate by a rotation drive device, and a second electric motor that is attached to the rotation frame.
