Summary:To prevent a setting mistake for post-processing by a user operation.SOLUTION: A compound machine operation system (10) according to the present invention includes a compound machine (20) being an example of an image formation apparatus and a portable terminal (30) capable of cooperating with the compound machine (20). In such a state that a sheet-like document (100) is set on an automatic document feeder (204) of the compound machine (20), the document (100) is photographed by the portable terminal (30). The portable terminal (30) specifies a style of the document (100) on the basis of the photographed image of the document (100). The portable terminal (30) performs setting for post-processing by a finisher (250) according to a user operation.
