Abstract | To provide a thermosensitive recording body having excellent solvent immersion resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermosensitive recording body having a thermosensitive recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored electron-donating leuco dye and an electron-accepting color developer on a support, wherein the thermosensitive recording layer contains an iron stearate salt and a polyhydric hydroxyaromatic compound as a metal chelate-type coloring component and at least one urea compound represented by the following general formula: (wherein, Y represents -O- or -NH-, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or -SO2-R3, R3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group, R2 represents a hydrogen tom or an alkyl group, m represents an integer of 0 to 2 and n represents 0 to 1.) as an electron-accepting color developer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
