Abstract | To provide an ore flotation method that can suppress effectively the flotation of iron pyrite and/or silica mineral, and a method for recovering copper.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method that applies the ore flotation technique to ore comprising copper mineral, and at least one mineral of iron pyrite and silica mineral. Slurry mixed with the ore is blended with iodine, causing the copper mineral to float while suppressing the flotation of the at least one mineral.SELECTED DRAWING: None
