Abstract | To enable a surface but also a side surface of an electrode substrate to be printed, while preventing liquid from adhering to a conveyance surface, in performing borderless-printing in which not only the surface but also the side surface thereof are printed.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device comprises a conveying part that conveys a substrate, a liquid adhesion member provided on the conveying part and partially sandwiched between an end part of the substrate and the conveying part, and a discharge part that discharges a liquid composition to the substrate and the liquid adhesion member, where the substrate inclines with respect to a conveyance surface of the substrate in the conveying part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
