Abstract | To provide a wind power generator capable of diagnosing the presence or absence of abnormality.SOLUTION: A wind power generator includes a blade, a main shaft connected with the blade at one end, a speed-increasing gear connected with the other end of the main shaft, an output shaft connected with the speed-increasing gear at one end, a power generating unit connected with the other end of the output shaft, a vibration sensor, and an abnormality diagnosis unit. The power generating unit can rotate the output shaft and the main shaft by power running operation. The abnormality diagnosis unit determines the presence or absence of abnormality on the basis of data acquired by the vibration sensor during a period in which the power generating unit performs power running operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
