Abstract | To suppress a temporal rise of a force limiter load.SOLUTION: A webbing winding device 10 is equipped with a spool 20 that can draw out and wind up a webbing 20A, and a rotator 50 that is disposed oppositely to the spool 20, and is prevented from rotating at emergency. The webbing winding device 10 is equipped with a wire 40 that has a base end portion 42 held, is disposed between the rotator 50 and the spool 20, and is wound around an inner rib 26 of the spool 20 when being deformed at emergency and the webbing 20A is drawn out, and an escaping portion 24B where a tip end portion 48 of the wire 40 escapes when the wire 40 is wound around an inner rib 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
