Abstract To provide a synthetic resin container which achieves both improvement of side surface rigidity of a trunk part and improvement of buckling strength by an annular recessed rib.SOLUTION: A synthetic resin container 1 comprises a mouth part 2, a barrel part 4 formed into a cylindrical shape, and a bottom part 5. On the barrel part 4, annular recessed ribs protruding radially inward and annularly extending in a circumferential direction are formed.
