Abstract To provide a vehicular lamp capable of detecting a wide range around a vehicle with high accuracy without increasing the number of monitoring sensors disposed in the lamp.SOLUTION: A vehicular lamp (headlamp) R-HL comprises a radar unit 1 that transmits and receives electromagnetic waves in a required angle area to detect an object. The radar unit 1 comprises a rotary mechanism 12 for changing an angular position of a transmitting/receiving surface of a radar body 11 that transmits/receives electromagnetic waves such as millimeter waves. The rotary mechanism 12 rotates the radar body 11 in a horizontal direction to change and control the angular position of the transmitting/receiving surface, thereby making it possible to monitor different surrounding areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】灯具内に配設する監視センサーの数を増加させることなく、車両の周囲の広い領域を高い精度で検知することが可能な車両用灯具を提供する。【解決手段】所要の角度領域に電磁波を送受して対象物の検知を行うレーダーユニット1を備える車両用灯具(ヘッドランプ)R-HLであり、レーダーユニット1は、例えばミリ波等の電磁波を送受するレーダー本体11の送受面の角度位置を変化させるための回動機構12を備える。回動機構12はレーダー本体11を水平方向に回動して送受面の角度位置を変化制御し、異なる周辺領域を監視することを可能にする。【選択図】 図3
