Abstract | To provide a vehicular lamp capable of detecting a wide range around a vehicle with high accuracy without increasing the number of monitoring sensors disposed in the lamp.SOLUTION: A vehicular lamp (headlamp) R-HL comprises a radar unit 1 that transmits and receives electromagnetic waves in a required angle area to detect an object. The radar unit 1 comprises a rotary mechanism 12 for changing an angular position of a transmitting/receiving surface of a radar body 11 that transmits/receives electromagnetic waves such as millimeter waves. The rotary mechanism 12 rotates the radar body 11 in a horizontal direction to change and control the angular position of the transmitting/receiving surface, thereby making it possible to monitor different surrounding areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
