Abstract | To prevent a magnetic pole deviation of a motor and an angle detector and improve reliability of the angle detector.SOLUTION: A one rotation reset impossible or rest possible selection type angle detector and a detection method of the same are configured to input a serial signal (2) from an external device (6) to ROM (3) and a gate circuit (4), input ROM output (3a) from the ROM (3) to the gate circuit (4), and send a final signal (4a) formed of "0" meaning that reset is not executed/"1" meaning that reset is executed from the gate circuit (4) to a one rotation reset operation part (4a). The serial signal (2) contains a reset impossible or reset possible signal (1a) of a code A and a reset signal (1b) of a code B. One rotation reset impossibility or reset possibility of the angle detector (1A) can be selected from the external device (6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
