To provide a manufacturing method of a label which prevents a pull-out waste of an insertion hole (through hole) from dropping when manufacturing the label without using a supporting substrate other than a label substrate, and can prevent the pull-out waste from being mixed into an automatic attachment device.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a label having an insertion hole for attaching the label to a neck part of a container includes: a cutting step of forming an outline of the insertion hole in a sheet-like label substrate having a first face and a second face on an opposite side of the first face; and an inside-removing step of removing a part of a label substrate in an inside surrounded by the outline of the insertion hole from the sheet-like label substrate. In the manufacturing method of the label, the cutting step includes forming an insertion hole outline cutting line penetrating between the first face and the second face of the label substrate other than a partial temporal connecting site for forming the outline of the insertion hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ラベル基材以外の支持基材を用いなくとも、ラベルの製造時に挿入孔（貫通穴）の抜き取り廃材が脱落せず、自動装着装置への抜き取り廃材の混入を防ぐことができるラベルの製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】容器の首部に装着するための挿入孔を有するラベルの製造方法であって、第１面及び前記第１面とは反対側の第２面を有するシート状のラベル基材に、挿入孔の輪郭を形成する切込み工程、及び前記シート状のラベル基材から、前記挿入孔の輪郭により囲まれる内側のラベル基材の部分を取り除く中抜き工程を含み、前記切込み工程は、前記挿入孔の輪郭を形成するため、部分的な一時接続箇所を除き前記ラベル基材の前記第１面と前記第２面の間を貫通する挿入孔輪郭切込み線を形成することを含む、ラベルの製造方法。【選択図】図３
