Abstract | To provide a toner that can achieve low temperature fixability, heat-resistant storage property, and image glossiness at high levels, and has a good cleaning property.SOLUTION: A toner has a toner base particle that contains a binder resin and a mold release agent, and resin fine particles on the surface of the toner base particle. The ratio of the peak height Iw of the mold release agent to the peak height Ir of the binder resin (Iw/Ir) measured by the total reflection measurement method (ATR) is 0.10 or more and 0.30 or less. The standard deviation σ (nm) of the distance L (nm) between the adjacent resin fine particles present on the surface of the toner base particle is 150 nm or more and 500 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
