Abstract To provide an audio output device capable of properly performing calibration on a head-related transfer function.SOLUTION: An audio output device in an embodiment includes an acoustic processing pattern storage unit, an audio output unit, and a determination unit. The acoustic processing pattern storage unit stores multiple acoustic processing patterns in which adjustment parameters for the head-related transfer function are different. The audio output unit outputs acoustic signals processed with an acoustic processing pattern stored in the acoustic processing pattern storage unit while switching in order.
