Abstract To provide a support mechanism of a platen roller, which can prevent or suppress strength from deteriorating and enables a size corresponding to an axial direction of the platen roller to reduce.SOLUTION: A support mechanism 30 of a platen roller 81 comprises a shaft member 31 arranged in parallel with the platen roller 81 and engagement members 32 and 33 provided at both end parts of the shaft member 31.
