Abstract | To provide a power system capable of outputting AC power using AC battery string and DC battery string with an appropriate method depending on the situation.SOLUTION: A power system 1 that outputs AC power to a power supply target (wire PGL) includes: a first power circuit 2 that includes a DC battery string for DC power and an inverter (DC/AC conversion circuit); a second power circuit 3 that includes an AC battery string for AC power; and a GCU 100 (control unit). The GCU 100 starts supplying the power to the power supply target in a first mode (charge/discharge mode using only AC battery string), and when the supply current exceeds a first threshold, the GCU 100 switches the charge/discharge mode to execute the power supply to the power supply target in a second mode (charge/discharge mode using the AC battery string and the DC battery string).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
