To provide a foamable aerosol composition having good foam quality, having good sense of use such as finger combing when applied to the hair and capable of achieving stability of a composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a foamable aerosol composition which comprises a stock solution composition containing water, a cationic surfactant, a higher alcohol and an oily component, monochlorotrifluoropropene and carbon dioxide gas, wherein the monochlorotrifluoropropene is at least one selected from the group consisting of transCF3CH=CClH and cisCF3CH=CClH, the mass ratio of the content ratio of the higher alcohol to the content ratio of the cationic surfactant in the stock solution composition is 1.05 to 25.00, the stock solution composition has a viscosity of 50000 mPa s or less and the foamable aerosol composition substantially comprises no anionic surfactant and nonionic surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】泡質が良好で、毛髪に適用した場合の指通りなど良好な使用感を有し、かつ組成物の安定性を達成しうる発泡性エアゾール組成物。【解決手段】発泡性エアゾール組成物であって、該発泡性エアゾール組成物が、水、カチオン性界面活性剤、高級アルコール及び油性成分を含む原液組成物、並びにモノクロロトリフルオロプロペン及び炭酸ガスを含み、該モノクロロトリフルオロプロペンが、トランスＣＦ３ＣＨ＝ＣＣｌＨ、シスＣＦ３ＣＨ＝ＣＣｌＨからなる群から選択される少なくとも一であり、該原液組成物中の、該高級アルコールの含有割合の、該カチオン性界面活性剤の含有割合に対する質量比が、１．０５～２５．００であり、該原液組成物の粘度が、５００００ｍＰａ・ｓ以下であり、該発泡性エアゾール組成物が、実質的にアニオン性界面活性剤及びノニオン性界面活性剤を含有しない発泡性エアゾール組成物。【選択図】なし
