Summary:To provide a stator in which eddy-current loss that occurs in a rectangular coil can be reduced.SOLUTION: A stator 1A comprises stator cores 10 having a plurality of slots 12 each open in an inner peripheral surface 11 and a plurality of teeth 13 each formed between the slots 12 adjacent to each other, and rectangular coils 20A wound around the teeth 13 respectively. The rectangular coil 20A has a deformed part 23 including either convex portions 24 or concave portions on or in an inner surface 27 opposing the inner peripheral surface 11. Thereby, a current loop L of eddy currents caused by a leakage magnetic flux at the inner surface 27 is divided by the deformed part 23, in the rectangular coil 20A, and then the current loop L of large eddy currents hardly occurs, so that only the current loop L of small eddy currents divided by the deformed part 23 occurs, which can reduce eddy-current loss that occurs in the rectangular coil 20A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】平角コイルで発生する渦電流損を低減することができる固定子を提供する。【解決手段】内周面11に開口する複数のスロット12と、互いに隣接するスロット12の間に形成された複数のティース13とを有する固定子鉄心10と、ティース13のそれぞれに巻回された平角コイル20Aとを備えた固定子1Aにおいて、平角コイル20Aは、内周面11に対向する内側面27に凸部24及び凹部のいずれかを含む変形部23を有する。このため、平角コイル20Aは内側面27において漏れ磁束による渦電流の電流ループLは変形部23で分断され、大きな渦電流の電流ループLが生じ難くなり、変形部23により分断された小さな渦電流の電流ループLとなるため、平角コイル20Aで発生する渦電流損を低減することができる。【選択図】図1
