Abstract | To provide a composite sash frame, a main frame, and a sash refurbishment method, all of which are configured to prevent an inner opening from becoming smaller even upon sash replacement, and also prevent damage to the exterior walls of a building even upon sash replacement.SOLUTION: A composite sash frame of the present invention includes a main frame has an inner-frame surface that demarcates an opening in which a panel member can be disposed and a fixed frame that can be attached to the main frame and fixed to a building skeleton, and the main frame does not have a portion protruding outwardly from the outer surface of the frame and fixed to the building skeleton.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
